A three–phase UPS (uninterruptible power supply) is a static device whose key task is to power three–phase electrical equipment in the event of a sudden power outage from the central power grid.
The purpose of all three–phase UPS is to support the autonomous operation of critical electrical equipment in conditions of:
- voltage drops;
- voltage fluctuations in the network – increased or decreased levels;
- presence of electromagnetic and high-frequency interference;
- sudden bursts of tension or its sharp declines;
- frequency deviations;
- nonlinear voltage distortion.
